Bio: In Brief
|
Louis Holder is an award-winning filmmaker, whose work has featured at numerous national and international film festivals worldwide, with over a decade of experience.
Having been awarded a BFI Rising Star Award at the House of Lords in 2013, Louis has since worked in numerous film, multimedia and academic contexts across both production and editorial departments. His past directorial and producing work has been backed by national and regional funding organisations including the BFI, Screen Suffolk and The Quentin Hogg Trust As an editor, Louis is a firm believer in supporting the vision of a director and their story as demonstrated by his numerous and recurring collaborations with both first-time and auteur directors across drama and documentary. He is particularly interested in championing (and working together with) both regional and international talent in the cutting room - especially individuals with personal and vital stories to tell, who are looking to say something to and about the world, for the big screen.
